Our Little Fish

Katelyn had her first experience with swim lessons over the past couple of weeks. Some days, she loved every minute of it. Other days, she pointed to the gate and said "Mama, let's go, go, go!" It was a great beginners class to help her get used to kicking, using her arms in the water, blowing bubbles, and jumping off the side. She especially loved the last day when Daddy came to watch her.

We are in the process of growing her bangs out, but when I pull her hair back, she says "I don't yike it!" and immediately pulls it out. Here is a lovely shot before class where she is trying to see past the hair in her eyes...

Each of the children were able choose a fish to play with during the class. The first day was quite a challenge when she had to give her fish back at the end of the class, after becoming so attached. She soon learned that each day, she'd see her fish again.

I am so glad you have a blog! It is really fun to be able to keep up with little milestones in our fast past lives! Looking forward to meeting your next little one.

Ansley,
HI! It was so fun to have a comment from you on our blog. Yes, i am very new to the blogging world and i am quite hesitant as i post things and i think about what i am going to say for the longest time, but then it's just turns out to be one sentence! OH well! And it's also funnny that I recently observed my picture frames in my house and i realized that they are all like 5 to 8 years old. I just don't think that having my old college dorm room pictures are the way to go. So i have slowly begun the process of updating, but the bad thing about that is that we look so much better and skinner 6 years ago!! HAA! Take care! MC <><
