"Fis It" (used by Katelyn in place of "Fix It")

My dad is quite the handyman. Growing up he fixed anything we broke (Jonathan broke way more than me!), any problem in the house, or any car troubles we faced. Usually within a couple of hours of the above mentioned tragedy, Dad would "fis it" in a way that would convince us that he could do anything. Since we are now grown adults who are still convinced of this, he is called on to help with projects around our homes at any given time. Without fail or hesitation, and despite his busy travel schedule and his own household projects, he manages to help anyone in need. (or in want!) Throughout the past year, Dad has built several swingsets (after designing them on his own), along with assisting Jonathan with a play fort for his boys. Somehow in all of this "fissing it" - he has torn his rotator cuff and has to take a break from the projects for a while. The Sebrings will remain on a waiting list for a swingset of our own, and once Dad has fully recovered (6 months or so, but we'll give him as much time as he needs) - we will gladly welcome our "wings" (swings) as Katelyn would say. Hopefully by that time, it won't be near as hot, muggy, and unbearable outside as it has been lately. As Katelyn said today, "Papa's gettn' his boo-boo fissed." His surgery is tomorrow around 1:00, and we write this to ask you for your prayers tomorrow, as well as in the months ahead as he travels the road of recovery. We'll keep you posted and we thank you for praying for our handyman, Katelyn's Papa, our good 'ole Dad...
